Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated store associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist
customers with hydraulic hose and fitting needs, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure
efficient store operations. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales ability,
willingness to learn and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate hydraulic products and
solutions. - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively.
- Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hydraulic hoses, fittings, and related
products. - Educate customers about product features, benefits, and proper usage.
- Sales Support:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Assist in maintaining attractive product displays and promotional materials.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist with inventory tracking, stock replenishment, and organization of the store.
- Ensure proper labeling and placement of products on shelves.
- Technical Assistance:
- Conduct hose assemblies and repairs as needed.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and colleagues regarding product
specifications and compatibility. - Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment .
- Stay informed about industry standards and regulations related to hydraulic
products.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in hydraulics or related
industry is a plus. - Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or hydraulic systems
preferred. - Skills:
- Bilingual with English & Spanish (Preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Technical aptitude for understanding hydraulic systems and components.
- Hands on mechanical skills.
- Hose Assembly & Fabrication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & TrulinX. Training courses may be provided.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
- Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
