VENDOR MANAGED INVENTORY (VMI)

Manage your all your fluid conveyance components from hose, fittings, adapters and more.

Overview:

Running out of critical hose, fittings, adapters, or fluid conveyance components can cause delays and bottleneck operations. VMI removes that worry and risk by putting the responsibility for tracking, replenishing, and reporting on stock levels on us instead of your team.

We have a dedicated account manager who sets up an inventory system tailored to what your operations use, monitors your inventory, and replenishes before you run low. For many clients, that also includes a crimper package matched to their equipment — sized to the hose and fitting range they actually run, so assemblies can be built or repaired on-site as part of the same program. The service is built around how your operations run. Our goal is to take care of the inventory so your team can focus on the work.

Benefits of Service:

Inventory management for fluid conveyance components is a balancing act. Too little stock risk downtime, too much ties up space and capital. Here are a few things to take note of:

  • Stockouts cost more than the part itself: A missing component can stop needed repairs or production which could become costly.

  • Overstocking has cost too: Excess inventory ties up space and capital on parts that may sit on your shelves for months.

  • Usage Patterns are not always the same: Seasonal work, equipment age, and operational changes all shift what’s needed. Our VMI program helps track usage and adjust inventory levels so the right products are available when you need them.
